'IE-DANCE'
IE-Dance
was originally created in 1994 by Robert Early
to form a discussion group about dance music in
Ireland on the Internet.
It is a forum whereby clubbers, promoters, DJs,
producers and anyone with an interest in the scene
can take part and discuss all aspects of it. It
is influential and respected by the media and
music industry, receiving many notable mentions
in the press. Also a place to have fun and fill
in the gap between Monday and Friday, to discuss
past gigs and parties and also to look forward
to new events.

RECLAIM
THE STREETS 2002
More
than 300 Anti-capitalism protesters took to the
streets of Dublin. Beginning the day peacefully
the crowd were soon caught up in disturbances
claimed they were clubbed with batons and feared
for their lives. The Irish Council for Civil Liberties
condemned the "Garda attacks" and said this "excessive
use of force" was symptomatic of something seriously
wrong with policing in Ireland.
